Who the heck on the Tales of Hearts dev team thought this was a good idea? It's not that the CG looks bad, it's just that it's not Tales. Tales isn't supposed to look like Final Fantasy. :(

I will admit that Kohak's anime version looks really downs. But that's less because of the anime and more because of Mutsumi Inomata.
